St Matthew’s, Westminster receives no financial support from the state or other public body.

In fact, St Matthew’s is expected to (and does) contribute to the Church of England’s central funds by paying what is commonly called its Common Fund (or Parish Share).

St Matthew’s is entirely self-financing and relies upon the generous support of its various congregations and the income from the conference centre to support its mission.
