Lunchtime recitals are held every Wednesday and are free of charge. You are welcome to bring your lunch into church to eat while you listen.

Deansbank Singers

The Deansbank Singers will be performing two short masses of contrasting styles, the first is Missa Brevis St Joannis de Deo by Haydn, and the second is A Little Jazz Mass by Bob Chilcott. To mark the American celebration of Independence Day, prayers will be said in between the movements of the Little Jazz Mass. Admission is free. There will be a retiring collection in aid of the work of St Matthew's. ​

Every 1st Sunday on the month the 11am service is Sung Mass with choir.

17.30    Silent Prayer
17.45    Evening Prayer
The church is open every day between 8.30am and 4.30pm for prayer.

Weekly every Wednesday, 1.05pm - 1.35pm

Weekly every Tuesday, 1.05pm - 1.30pm
Contemplative Space

Set aside space and time for peace, stillness and quiet. During this time you are welcome to come and go as you please.

Weekly every Wednesday, 9.10am - 9.45am
School Mass

If you would like to attend school Mass, please contact the church office.

Monthly each second Monday, 2.30pm - 3pm
Julian Prayer Group

The Julian Prayer Group is an ecumenical group for silent, contemplative prayer.


There is a programme of events organised by Anglican Catholic Future on its website.

O T H E R   E V E N T S 

Tuesday 4th July - Sunday 20th August
I AM: An East-West Art Exhibition
St Martin-in-the-Fields

I AM, organised by CARAVAN, features the work of 31 premier Middle Eastern women contemporary artists from 12 countries and is curated by Janet Rady. It will be at St Martin's until Sunday 20th August as part of an international tour. Admission is free.

Saturday 22nd July, 10.30am-10pm
Come and Sing Workshop and Performance: Haydn's Nelson Mass
St Marylebone Parish Church

This will be an opportunity for anyone to spend the day rehearsing and performing Haydn's Nelson Mass as part of the St Marylebone Festival (sponsored by the Nelson Society). The programme for the day will be as follows:
10.30am-1.30pm Morning Workshop
2.30-5.30pm Rehearsals with orchestra and soloists
6.45pm Pre-concert talk on Nelson's connections with the church
7.30pm Performance
