Michael Currans was born and brought up in Chislehurst, London, and has recently completed his degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from Royal Holloway. Michael spent most of his three years splitting his time between degree work and helping out in the Chapel where he was a Senior Chapel Warden. Throughout his undergraduate years, Michael discovered his love of playwriting, as well as producing fiction. At the end of his second year, he wrote, produced and acted in a play about Scottish Independence that was staged as part of the university’s 'Play! Festival'. When he is not writing political comedies or science fiction, Michael can be found indulging in his other hobby, painting and assembling miniature wargaming models. Michael hopes to use his downtime to continue building upon his miniature collection, as well as writing and seeing various plays.
